Warranty & Indemnity Insurance
This cover is placed to provide the insured with a financial indemnity in the event of a breach of alleged warranties or indemnities specified in the sale and purchase agreement or tax deed.
Typically, the cover is provided for sellers. However, more recently we have been approached to place similar cover for buyers. This provides a first party indemnity should they be unable to recover damages due to limitations included with the sale and purchase agreement. We can also protect the buyer from simply not being able to trace the seller.
